This is my entry for the Talenthouse Secret seven inch contest, an exciting project combining music and art in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Creative fans are invited to submit designs for the sleeves of singles for seven different participating artists, including The Cure.
The Cure selected their track ‘Friday I’m In Love’ and invited creatives to interpret the song, however they please, via an original piece of seven inch artwork.
Forty-five different designs will be selected for the ‘Friday I’m In Love’ single, but nobody will know who won or what designs were chosen until people start buying the singles on the U.K. edition of Record Store Day, which falls on 21 April 2012.
