The Starry Night (after Vincent van Gogh) | 8 x 10 | acrylic painting on canvas
This is my version of The Starry Night which was originally painted by the Dutch post-impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh in 1889. It depicts the view outside his sanitarium room window at night, although he actually painted it from memory during the day. Reproduced often, the painting is widely hailed as his magnum opus.
